Returned to Their Love Page 8
Cole slid his fingers into her hair and held her close to him. She found she liked that. Liked the possessiveness that both men showed over her but the freedom they gave her also.
She grasped the length of him in her hand and was surprised to find that her fingers barely met with the girth. After sliding her tongue around the head several times, she opened her mouth wide and engulfed him. She let her mouth adjust to the feeling, and then she took most of him in until he touched the back of her throat. She gagged a bit as she pulled up on him until just his head remained in her mouth.
“Easy, kitten. You don’t have to take all of me if it’s too much,” he murmured as his fingers massaged her scalp. “But your mouth feels like heaven, Marls.”
A smile spread on her lips the best it could since she had something large in her mouth, but she reveled in his compliment. She bobbed back down on him until he was close to her throat, and she pulled back. This was going to be a lesson on how to suck cock, and she would have to get used to it.
Finding a rhythm, she pistoned up and down on his dick and felt him grow in her mouth. His breaths were becoming staggered as he began to pump his hips. She moved a hand down to cup his balls and then rolled them in her palm. She continued to bob up and down on his cock as he caressed her hair until she felt his balls harden in her palm and they became hotter to the touch. A couple of seconds later, Cole was holding her head down to him. She felt his cock throb in her mouth right before hot jets of cum spurted into the back of her throat as he shouted out his release. She tried to swallow as quickly as she could, but some of it leaked from her mouth.
Cole held her head still a few more moments before releasing her. Marlowe looked up at his eyes and found them closed, and he had a relaxed, peaceful expression on his face.
When she pulled off of him, she licked him clean, finding she liked the taste of him. She turned to Cade and began to undo his pants. His face was red, and his breathing staggered. He had watched her perform oral sex on his brother, and by the looks of it, he was thoroughly affected.
This time, she knew what to expect as she helped him lower his jeans. Instead of him sitting, he remained standing. He, too, held her head by combing his hands into her hair.
His cock wasn’t as long as Cole’s, but it was a bit wider. She wrapped her hand around the girth, and she rubbed the organ against her cheek before she took him into her mouth as far back as she could. When she pulled back until just the head was between her lips, she laved said head until she felt the bead of pre-cum form. She licked it up and held it on her tongue briefly to compare his flavor with his brother’s. Both were salty and tangy, but Cade’s had a touch of muskiness to it.
Taking him again to the back of her throat, she felt his light brown tightly curled pubic hair tickle her nose. She breathed in the unique aroma of the man before she pulled back. She began to bob up and down on his cock. With this being her second cock to suck, she knew what to feel for, and she felt the thick vein that ran up the side of his dick. The head of his cock was a bit flatter that his brother’s, and his balls were heavier. It always surprised her how different the twins could be.
She sped up her ministrations and pistoned up and down. Cade’s fingers tightened in her hair, sparking a bit of pain on her scalp. She found she actually liked that a lot.
“Oh, baby girl, Cole’s right. Your mouth is heaven. You can seduce me anytime doing this.” Cade’s voice was husky. “I love you so much.”
His words encouraged her. She moved faster, and then she felt his sac get hot and heavier. His cock swelled nanoseconds before he erupted. She swallowed as quickly as possible to accept all of him, and she was proud of herself that she was able to take all of him. There was a lot for her to learn with these two, but she loved what she had just done with the men she loved.
Cole helped her to her feet and pulled her into a hug. He wrapped his arms around her and held her close. “I love you, kitten.”
He rested his chin on the top of her head as she looked out at the tiny bit of light left over the mountain range to the west. She knew she was home, especially when she was in one of her men’s arms.
Chapter Eight
“Are you certain you want to do this, Marls?” Jasper had to be certain before he let her go see her father.
Marlowe had looked happy and content when she arrived at the sheriff’s office with Cade and Cole about ten minutes ago. He had offered the trio coffee, but he could see the nervousness on Marlowe’s face when she declined. The two Younger boys accepted. Marlowe sat in Dirk’s chair since he was out on patrol while Cole and Cade sat in the chairs they had pulled in from the lobby.
Jasper was at odds on whether he should play Danny’s confession to Marlowe or if he should just let it lie. There was no sense upsetting her further. “He’s been in a foul mood ever since I told him we had found…” Jasper cleared his throat, unsure how to continue what he was going to say.
“It’s all right, Jasper. I’m good,” Marlowe said softly, yet sadly.
Jasper knew she was going to have to grieve on a deeper level than when she thought her mother had walked out on her.
He ran his hand over his close-cut hair in frustration. “He’ll probably say some really disgusting things.”
She stood. Today she was wearing a light blue sweater that looked great with her blonde hair, along with a pair of jeans. Jasper had to admit she knew how to fill out both garments.
Cole and Cade moved in close to her, their claim on her visual, but they were also providing her support. One day Jasper hoped to have the same connection to a woman. He and his cousin Dante had talked about sharing since they were young. Now, they just had to find the right lady to woo.
“Do you want us to go with you?” Cade asked as he held Marlowe by her shoulders.
“I-I’ll be fine.” Marlowe’s voice was barely audible.
Cade pulled her to him and wrapped his arms around her. He hugged her tight.
Cole stood right behind her and held her waist. “If he upsets you too much, just walk away, kitten. He doesn’t deserve your time.”
“I know,” she said as she moved out of the embrace. She took a deep breath.
Jasper led her to the door that led to the cells. This wasn’t the first time he been in this situation with her. Numerous times she had come to retrieve her father the morning after a bender. However, this time the man wasn’t drunk, and he was being accused of killing Marlowe’s mother.
“I’ll be right outside this door. If I hear him getting too angry, I’ll pull you out of there. Don’t let him get to you,” Jasper explained as he opened the door. Marlowe walked through it, and then Jasper partially closed the door but left it open a few inches, just to make sure Marlowe was safe.

Her body was shaking as she walked past the three empty cells to stop in front of the one that housed her father. Anger had built up since she had entered the sheriff’s office, but she had tried to mask it in front of the men. She needed them all to know that she could handle seeing the man who had destroyed her life.
Marlowe thought about the morning of her graduation. She had begged him to come to the ceremony, but all she had gotten was a grunt as he had turned over in bed and tried to go back to sleep. He never did show up, and when she had gone home afterwards to change, he wasn’t home. It hurt that whiskey and beer were more important than she was. However, now she knew that even her mother wasn’t important to him either.
Danny was lying on the cot, staring up at the ceiling. When she stopped in front of the cell, it took about thirty seconds before he acknowledged her presence. He lifted his head, looked at her, and then sat up quickly, sneering at her. “So, you came back to town to be with those freaks? You really think they want your fat ass?”
Expecting his abuse, Marlowe took several breaths to tamp down her anger. “Hello, Danny.” She wasn't going to give him the satisfaction of referring to him as her father. “I came here to let you know you don't ha
ve any power over me anymore. I'm moving back here, and you'll be leaving for Deer Lodge soon, to spend the rest of your life as someone else's punching bag, as their bitch.”
Marlowe held her ground when Danny jumped up from the cot and came flush up against the bars. “Listen, bitch,” he sneered. “You're going to drop the charges for the car. Otherwise, when I get out of here, I will hunt you down and beat the shit out of you. You remember what I can do, don't you, girlie?”
Determined not to let him get to her, Marlow chuckled. “I’m not a scared little girl anymore, Danny. I’m not afraid of you or what you can do. You won't ever touch me again. You have bullied me for the last time. You've abused me for the last time. I am my own woman now, and I can make my own decisions, do what I want to do, and you can't stop me.”
“I am your father!” he shouted. “I raised you, and I can do whatever the hell I want with you.”
Marlowe squared her shoulders and stepped up to the bars, praying she didn’t look as intimidated as she felt, for even after all this time, her father made her feel that way. “Fathers don’t abuse their children and wives. They love and cherish them. They protect them from scum like you.” She ground out the words through gritted teeth. “Fathers also don’t murder their loved ones and bury them in the woods and then tell their daughter her mother left her.” Marlowe choked back a sob. “How could you?”
Danny chuckled, and then his face changed. An evil smile crossed his lips as his eyes closed to mere slits. “When your mother told me she was different, I didn’t really care. I thought she was a bit crazy. She was careful though. It wasn’t until after you were born that she changed for the first time in front of me. Why? Because I was drunk, and she said I was trying to hurt you when you wouldn’t stop crying. She changed into the freak she was and attacked me. I told her I would kill you if she ever attacked me again.”
“Then why did you stay with her? Why did she stay with you?”
“I also told her if she ever left, I would kill you.” Danny had always been mean during Marlowe’s life, but today was the first time she had seen the true evil in him. “Since I couldn’t work because of my injury from the accident, she had to take care of me. She worked and left you with me. I was nothing but a glorified babysitter, and you were a loud child. I couldn’t stand having to watch you all day. That’s why I would drink.” He chuckled. “You both drove me to drink. I know I did things to her when I was drunk, but I didn’t care. She had wifely duties to perform. Then, one day she told me she was bringing another freak into this world. I couldn’t allow it. When I told her to get rid of it, she fought me, and then when I could tell she was getting ready to shift, I hit her over the head with frying pan. And, after the first strike, I couldn’t stop. I would have killed you too, but then I knew I could get money from the state for you since your mother was missing.”
Marlowe was unable to hide her shock. Her own father had killed her mother because she was pregnant!
“You disgust me!”
“I disgust you?” he shouted as he grabbed her shirt and pulled her against the bars. Pain jarred her body and face as she struck the immovable steel barrier. “You both disgusted me! You aren’t human! You were both freaks! Those Younger boys are freaks just like the sheriff and his father before him! This whole town is a bunch of freaks!”
As he ranted, his voice strident, his spit hit her face with each word. His face turned crimson, and his breathing became labored.
“Then why did you marry her? You didn’t have to marry her! You could have just walked away!”
“Because she had money! I didn’t have to work for anything! I wasn’t going to walk away from that.”
Hands were groping Marlowe and trying to pull Danny’s hands off of her. There was shouting and soothing voices in her ears as she tried to absorb what Danny had admitted.
During the entire time she had been growing up, and even until he revealed his true feelings and thoughts, Marlowe believed that he had some sort of warped love for her and her mother. That he had truly loved them but had let alcohol gain control of his heart and soul. However, now she knew the truth.
Vaguely, she felt herself being moved from the cell area. The sound of the heavy metal door closing sounded like it was far away. Hands caressed her shoulders and her back as whispers penetrated her brain.
As she looked around, everything she saw was watery, and she felt the moisture on her cheeks. She was crying. Breathing in raggedly, she tried to calm herself.
“…lowe, he can’t hurt you anymore. Please calm down.” Cade’s words finally penetrated her brain. “He’s going to be punished for what he did to your mother. He’ll go to prison, and he won’t ever have freedom again. But you need to calm down.”
“Listen to him, kitten. Danny doesn’t have a place in your life anymore. Release him and let the law take care of him and let us take care of you. You have a long happy life ahead of you. You have a whole lot of people who love and support you.” Cole kissed the top of her head when he finished speaking.
Love was going to be what helped her through this. She had a town that supported her before, but she had turned her back on it. Would they still support her? Jasper wasn’t against her. Neither was Dante. Her men were right. She had a support system.

When Danny’s voice raised and the sound of the bars rattled, Cole’s heart leaped into this throat. His first thought was to shift, and he felt as if he was starting to, but he knew Marlowe needed his help.
Jasper was the first one through the door since he was standing next to it, listening to the exchange for evidence. Once Cole and Cade made it into the cell area, Cole was livid to see Danny holding Marlowe by the front of her shirt up against the bars as he yelled at her. Marlowe seemed to be in shock as her body was being repeatedly pulled hard against bars.
Cade and Cole moved to each side of Marlowe and tried to pull her out of Danny’s deadly grip while Jasper tried to get Danny to release her. Cole and Cade tried to sooth Marlowe through the ordeal, but she seemed to have zoned out. It took a minute before they were able to get her away from Danny, and since he was still ranting and raving as Cole led Marlowe out to the office area, and was fighting Jasper, Jasper tasered Danny, and now the cell area was quiet.
Marlowe was still quiet, but her tears continued to fall. Cole had heard Danny’s confession, and it killed him knowing Danny never loved Marjorie or Marlowe. Being brought up in a house filled with love, Cole couldn’t wrap his mind around how someone could marry another person and have a child with them if they didn’t love them.
Bruises were already beginning to appear on Marlowe’s face. Cole was certain she would have them on her shoulders, chest, and arms also. He hated that she’d gotten hurt physically as well as emotionally, but from this point on, she would be moving forward, and she would never have to deal with Danny again.
“Marls, can you please talk to us? Let us know you are all right?” Cole asked as he knelt next to her.
She looked at him and blinked several times. Her tears nearly stopped. “He never loved her,” she murmured. “She was so beautiful, and she loved him. How could he not love her?”
“We may never understand why Danny couldn’t function like a normal person,” Cade began, “but he won’t be able to hurt anyone ever again.”
“Aren’t you afraid I’m going to turn out like him?”
Pain stabbed at Cole’s heart at her question. There was no way that Marlowe was anything like Danny. She had so much of Marjorie in her, and yet she couldn’t see that. They would need to make her see that.

People crowded the sidewalk as Cade and Cole escorted Marlowe out of the sheriff’s office nearly an hour later. She had to press charges for the damage to her car as a formality, and then the district attorney came in to talk to her about what was going to happen to Danny now that he was being charged with homicide. Since Danny verbally confessed, twice, the case was pretty much cut and dried
, although there would still be a trial.
Tina Alton, the district attorney, was someone Marlowe, Cade, and Cole had gone to school with. She had pulled Marlowe aside to talk to her in private, but once she left, Marlowe had informed the guys what was said.
Marjorie had seen her attorney not too long before she disappeared, seeking to put her money into a trust for Marlowe, just in case something happened to her. Apparently, Marlowe’s mother had a feeling. Tina Alton’s father was Marjorie’s attorney and had revealed to his daughter the information a week before he died in a single car accident. Now there was a possibility Danny had committed other crimes.
The crowd offered various forms of help as the trio walked out to Cole’s pickup. Marlowe smiled and thanked people and even promised to meet up for lunches or drinks. She had been missed by so many people, and she didn’t even know it. Cole and Cade would have to give up time with her so she could resume her friendships here in Passion.
Chapter Nine
“How’s she doing?” Coraline asked as she closed the kitchen door behind her. She made her way to the small area of the kitchen where they had put in a coffee center, filled with syrups, sweeteners, and different types of coffees for the single-cup brewer. There was also a regular coffee maker for coffee that would sit during the day for those who wanted their coffee the way nature intended it.
Cole was sitting at the island, nursing his own cup of coffee, which he had doctored with a touch of whiskey. The last two days had been a whirlwind with the return of the woman he loved. Marlowe was too beautiful and kind-hearted to be dealing with the mess her father had made of her life.
“She’s resting with Cade right now,” he responded before taking another sip of the bitter brew.
